The Limetree Clinic
Brand & Visual Identity // Website Design // Website Development
Background
Creating a health clinic for patients with lingering, often undiagnosed or unidentified, yet very much sensible illnesses has always been a dream for Elaine Hogan. She began to visualise her plans in late 2020 and arrived at the foundation of The Limetree Clinic. While her reputation and expertise has quickly gained popularity among potential patients, she was lacking a proper website to showcase her knowledge and herbal health related services.
Challenge
When we began working with Elaine, a series of important conversations began to take shape: how she thinks about her own experience, having been diagnosed with Lyme Disease a number of years earlier, through her own challenges in getting the right treatment and finally arriving into the world of herbal health treatments. We needed to showcase her touching and very real story, and bring it ‘alive’ for her own target audience: potential patients who would like to finally get back to living a full and healthy life. Patients arriving to her business were often thinking that turning to an alternative health clinic is their last hope to become healthy again. The main challenge for us at Dovetail was the organisation of Elaine’s vast knowledge – both in terms of what someone goes through during their illness, as well as her ability to treat people effectively – into an informative, meaningful, well organised and aesthetically pleasing website.
Solution
Through a series of conversations with Elaine on her brand and her own experience and knowledge around the topic of health, we developed The Limetree Clinic’s website to reflect a logical, down-to-earth-toned, yet hope-providing style visually, while making sure that copy reflected everything a potential patient might want to know more about, before deciding to turn up for an initial consultation. The website also helped Elaine put her internal ‘mindmap’ onto a comprehendible digital platform that allows her to address multiple target audiences.
Angie O’Brien Art-Psychotherapy
Brand & Visual Identity // Website Design // Website Development
Background
Angie O’Brien has been working as an art-psychotherapyist for many years and wanted to showcase her services to her individual and organisational clients. She had many things laid out already in her mind, which we could further help systematize by taking her through a facilitated branding and value proposition workshop. She also took time out to think about her brand, values and vision for her business, making her choice of design elements much more conscious.
Challenge
Angie came up with her own copy mostly, so our main work was design related, and needed to showcase something serious, yet fun; artistically thought-through, yet not ‘artsy’; displaying possibilities for her clients in a way that also shows the freedom these same clients may and should enjoy when working with Angie.
Solution
By way of regular catch-ups, we developed Angie’s website to match her vision as much as possible. We made sure that clients can find things easily on the website, and can approach Angie easily in terms of booking and expression of interest, making sure that potential clients feel safe and excited about booking an art therapy session for themselves; or a creative team-building session facilitated by Angie.
Mary Hayden
Copy Development // Brand & Visual Identity // Website Design // Website Development
Background
We began working with Mary in the summer of 2020, by way of a few coaching sessions, where she was given the opportunity to start thinking about her own skills, strengths and capabilities in a new manner. While being a super-busy mom to 4 kids, she still has the energy to think about helping businesses from a finance, accounting and holistic business perspective. So we started turning these 1:1 coaching sessions into tangible ‘interviews’, where she could talk about her thoughts and experiences freely, and would get a written-up version distilled into website-ready copy. This allowed her to start believing in herself and have more self-confidence to come out on the web for her potential clients. She had so much to offer, that we needed to really think about organizing these services into meaningful parts for her target audience.
Challenge
Once the copy was ready with the help of Benedek, we started working on arranging these into ‘bite-sized’ website pages that allowed complex matters to be explained and understood easily (hence, her ‘jargon-free consultant’ approach). We also needed to keep in mind what potential clients might be looking out for, and tailor the copy, based on content marketing research and SEO best-practices. Cat helped develop a professional looking website design that was easy to view and supported the copy and Mary’s business.
Solution
Mary’s new website now allows her to showcase all her knowledge and experience in a meaningful way, while also being a digital learning platform for her customers. She began offering training courses and regularly uses her website to showcase virtual events that her potential clients may be interested in.
True Self – True Art
Brand & Visual Identity // Website Design // Website Development
Background
Aisling Brennan has been working as an art-therapist for many years and wanted to showcase her services to her individual and organisational clients. We had a series of conversations with her to help her lay out her plans and make it easier to envisage the new website. By way of our brand exploration worksheets, she also took time out to think about her brand, values and vision for her business, helping her to fine-tune her design-intentions.
Challenge
Aisling has several target audiences on her ‘plate’, so in each case, we needed to think about both the uniqueness they require individually, and also an overarching design and concept that would still show the website as a whole being coherent. Our main work was design and build related, and needed to showcase a calm, serene and inviting feel for her clients, where they are invited to deep-dive into their own minds and with the help of art, bring about new understanding about their own lives.
Solution
By way of regular catch-ups, we developed Aisling’s website to cater for her needs as much as possible. We made sure that clients can find things easily on the website, while also showcasing how Aisling works and the services she provides.
